I decided to experiment with the Shepard Fairey style of illustration he used on the popular Obama poster. So being a fan of the Travel Channel's "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" I thought he'd make a good subject.
Brazilian artist, sola e a comedia da vida seca sent me some of his free art to place around my "stomping grounds". In this case it was placed at the old mill and an old gas station in Scotts, Michigan. The piece left at the mill was found quickly by a young boy who was thrilled with his find.
I haven't drawn any art cards (ACEOs) in awhile so I decided to take some time this this week to draw a few. Usually I ink the characters but I really felt like breaking out the pencils lately.
For the past couple days I've had this inexplicable urge to illustrate Charles Bronson... well I drew Charles Bronson, then things really got out of hand and I wound up illustrating Grizzly Adams and Jack. Fortunately, I don't have any urges to illustrate ALF or Doogie Howser.
