Art Available for Licensing

Over the Christmas and New Year's Holidays I decided to prepare some of my art for potential licensing usage. As a result I created a simple web site. Although I haven't spent time marketing the site, it is currently live.

Frozen Lake Graffiti!?

Example
Example
Frozen Sunset Lake (in Vicksburg, Michigan) has been the scene of some tagging and "graffiti" lately.

I created the top work of art by walking around on the ice. Normally I shy away from walking on frozen lakes but it's been so cold (for such a long time) that I wasn't too worried about falling through. By the next morning ice fisherman had already drug their sleds over the image.... oh well... it was still really fun to create.

Not long after I created my work of art someone else got the idea to tag the lake. (bottom photo) Instead of using their feet they took a shovel and wrote in very large letters "Estefania Needs Husband"... that made me laugh... I think they should get the prize for originality.

Guerrilla Art - Chicago

Example
Example
Example
Example
A little over a week ago, fellow Kalamazoo guerrilla artist Bonus Saves and I got together to do some collaborative paintings. I painted the 3 eyed bearded guy and Bonus added his colorful "bonus" characters. (We painted it on a 34"x34" piece of cardboard).

Bonus was headed to Chicago this past weekend so he took our collaborative painting and 16 other pieces from CODO, NiceONE, DryPNz, Jack, and Miss Manou (from the Tigapics Collective) to hang in public places. As with most guerrilla art, these pieces were FREE for the taking. (A sign was hung reading "FREE - Please Take")

Art Trade with Tim Grimmer!

Example
Example
I just received these excellent ORIGINAL drawings from my buddy Tim Grimmer as part of our art trade.

Tim and I met in a college drawing class way back in 1990. At the time we were the two best artists in the class. So we had an informal competition each week to out-draw each other. Of course this "competition" was how I remember it. He may tell you he was unaware of any competition. If that's the case, then I'll have to embarrassingly admit defeat. After all I viewed him as a "threat" and if he didn't view me as a "threat" well then... he was the better artist. Maybe I should ask... or maybe I don't want to know.

Anyway, Tim and I are absolute polar opposites in personality, and over the years, very different artistically. Yet we speak a common "visual language" that keeps us connected all these years later.

So thanks Tim, I'm honored to have some of your original ink drawings in my collection.

Pastel Drawing on Braille Schwans Catalog

Example
Example
I was researching Schwan's Frozen Food products, when I noticed you could sign up for their Braille food catalog. Being curious I signed up.

When I got it, it was a spiral bound, 60+ page, completely Braille booklet. Since I don't read Braille and the texture was intriguing, I thought it might be good for pastel drawings.
